Course Summary

Coaching Essentials focus on how to coach your subordinates to achieve high performance and goals. Coaching is a powerful technique of listening and questioning that enables a person to gain awareness and identity, where they want to be, where they are now, what options they have to move forward and what they will actually do to move forward (Ashdown & Leow, 2014). It is a deep learning partnership with systematic steps to empower a person to gain courage, capabilities and commitment to achieve high performance and goals in the most fulfilling way. International Coach Federation defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.

There are 3 modules (Introduction to Coaching, Emotional Meta-Competencies and Rational Meta-Competencies) in this course. A Certificate of Attendance will be issued to participants who successfully attend all the 3 modules. These 3 modules also form Part 2 of the Masterclass Certification in Financial Coaching Programme (MCFCP) towards award of the Certified Financial Coach (CFC®) certificate by UTM Space (UTM School of Professional and Continuing Education). Hence, practical coaching sessions will focus more on resolving financial issues and achieving financial goals.
