Yapp Hock Hoe is the Managing Partner of Tai, Yapp & Co, He is an Audit Partner with more than 40 years of experience in audit, assurance and corporate restructuring exercises.

His early career was with Coopers & Lybrand (subsequently merged with PriceWaterhouse). He subsequently founded his professional firm in 1979 with another partner which is presently known as Tai, Yapp & Co.

Brief experience:

• Audit and assurance engagements, special assignments such as Reporting Accountants for initial public offering exercises (IPO);

• Review of profit and cash flow forecast/projection in relation to the corporate exercises involving debt restructuring, reverse takeovers and corporate rescue schemes;

• Valuation of shares and due diligence audits for acquisition and other purposes; 

• Liquidators, Receivers and Managers for creditors’ voluntary winding up and capital reduction exercises;

• He has extensive experience in audits of companies in broad ranging industries including companies listed on Bursa Malaysia and SME companies such as industrial products, property management, engineering services, manufacturing, building and construction, charitable or non-profit organisations, plantation, hotel operator and others.

• Conduct yearly internal training for staff in various topics such as audit, tax and secretarial work.
